A minor injuries unit is located at the New Victoria Infirmary seven days per week throughout the year including bank holidays. It is open from 9AM until 9PM.

The minor injuries unit will assess and treat all patients above the age of five for cuts, minor burns, sprains and broken bones. Children under the age of five with any of these problems should be taken to the Emergency Department at the Royal Hospital for Children.
